A Record of Your Jewel
Depending on the piece, it records:
- Gemstone
- Exact carat/ratti weight
- Independent laboratory and certificate number
- Treatment status
- Geographic origin, where established
- Metal and purity
- BIS hallmark/HUID where applicable
- Moraebi maker's mark
- Jewel/reference number
- Date of creation
The independent laboratory certificate documents your gemstone. Applicable hallmarking identifies the precious metal. The Moraebi Record of Craft & Authenticity brings the details together as the record of the finished jewel.
Keep it with your gemstone certificate and purchase documentation. It also helps us identify your piece if it returns to the Moraebi atelier for future care, resizing, repair or remaking.
