Lifetime Care

Every Moraebi jewel carries a 12-month craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery, and is eligible for complimentary professional cleaning and setting inspection for its lifetime.

If your gemstone feels loose, your jewellery receives a hard knock or something simply does not feel right, we encourage you to send it to us for inspection.

Damage caused by accidental impact, chemical exposure, improper care or ordinary wear is assessed separately from the craftsmanship warranty.

Resizing is available where technically possible.

Where the design allows, resizing up to one size larger is complimentary. Making a ring smaller, or resizing beyond one size, may require additional material or a remake — any applicable charges, and insured shipping, will be communicated before work begins.

Remaking, replacement materials, restoration and significant repairs are chargeable.

We inspect the jewel first and provide a quotation before undertaking chargeable work.

Minor chips, scratches or surface damage can sometimes be improved through professional repolishing or recutting without treatment or enhancement.

Repolishing or recutting removes gemstone material. The gemstone will therefore lose some carat/ratti weight and its dimensions may change.

It may consequently require new certification, a modified setting or a complete remake of the jewel.

A gemstone with severe cracking, extensive fractures or significant structural damage may not be safely repairable. We will explain the possibilities and risks before proceeding.

Where an existing Moraebi jewel is dismantled for remaking, recoverable precious metal is assessed according to its actual weight and purity.

Where appropriate, this material or its recoverable value can be accounted for toward the remake, subject to normal manufacturing, soldering, refining and technical losses.
