Welcome to Moraebi.
Moraebi is a brand owned and operated by Manner, a registered partnership firm in India. Purchases, payments and invoices for Moraebi are processed and issued by Manner. Manner is GST registered and holds applicable business registrations and memberships, including MSME/Udyam registration and GJEPC membership.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Moraebi website and your purchase of gemstones, jewellery and related services from us.
By using our website, placing an order or approving a commissioned purchase, you agree to these Terms together with our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Role
Moraebi works with natural gemstones and designs and crafts jewellery around them.
We respect the traditions associated with astrological gemstones, but Moraebi is not an astrology service.
We do not prescribe or recommend:
which gemstone you should wear
ratti or carat weight
metal
finger or placement
day or time of wearing
planetary associations or remedies
kundli or birth-chart interpretation
any other astrological practice
We do not provide astrological consultations or recommend consulting astrologers.
Our expertise begins after you have received your recommendation. We help you understand and select the gemstone you have been advised to wear and design jewellery around the requirements you provide.
Any information on our website relating to historical, cultural or astrological traditions is provided for educational and contextual purposes and does not constitute medical, scientific, financial or astrological advice or a guarantee of any particular outcome.
2. Natural Gemstones
Natural gemstones are individual products of geological formation.
Colour, transparency, inclusions, growth features, zoning, lustre, dimensions and other characteristics may naturally vary from gemstone to gemstone.
A natural inclusion is not automatically a defect. Moraebi distinguishes, as far as reasonably possible, between natural characteristics and structural concerns such as significant open fractures, cavities or damage.
We aim to describe material characteristics honestly and to show them clearly before purchase.
3. Natural, Untreated & Unheated
Moraebi selects natural gemstones with no evidence of treatment for its astrological gemstone offering.
"Natural" and "untreated" do not mean the same thing. A gemstone may have formed naturally but subsequently undergone heating, filling, diffusion, dyeing, coating or another treatment.
Where Moraebi describes a gemstone as untreated or unheated, that representation is based on the relevant gemological examination and independent laboratory documentation available for that individual gemstone.
4. Independent Gemstone Certification
Every Moraebi centre gemstone is accompanied by independent gemological certification.
Depending on the gemstone, value and testing required, reports may be obtained from recognised Indian or international gemological laboratories.
Standard identification and treatment-status certification supplied with the gemstone is included in its price unless expressly stated otherwise.
A certificate is an independent laboratory document and remains subject to the terminology, scope, limitations and conclusions of the issuing laboratory.
5. Geographic Origin Reports
Geographic origin is different from gemstone identification.
Where an existing recognised laboratory origin report accompanies a gemstone, this will be disclosed.
If you require a geographic-origin opinion and one is not already available, Moraebi can arrange additional testing on request and at an additional charge, subject to the gemstone being suitable for such testing and an appropriate laboratory offering the service.
Geographic origin is an expert laboratory opinion. Moraebi does not independently determine or guarantee geographic origin beyond the scope of the documentation supplied.
6. The Exact Gemstone You Choose
Where an individual gemstone is offered for selection, the gemstone you see, compare and approve is the gemstone you receive.
We do not substitute it with another gemstone merely because it is similar in colour, weight or appearance.
We endeavour to photograph and show gemstones as faithfully as possible, including through natural-light video consultations. However, gemstone colour may appear somewhat different depending on lighting conditions, photography, camera processing, screen settings and the environment in which it is viewed.
7. Video Consultations & Gemstone Selection
Where appropriate, Moraebi may show you a considered selection of actual gemstones matching the requirements you have provided.
We may help you compare colour, transparency, natural inclusions, dimensions, exact carat/ratti weight, treatment status, certification, geographic origin where established and individual price.
Our explanation relates to gemstones and jewellery. It does not constitute astrological advice.
You are welcome to seek the opinion of your astrologer, family or trusted adviser before making your selection.
8. Gemstone Reservations
Where possible, up to four shortlisted gemstones may be reserved for 48 hours while you consider your decision.
A reservation does not constitute a completed purchase unless payment has been received.
After the reservation period, an unpaid gemstone may be released for sale or returned to the relevant sourcing network. Any extension is at Moraebi's discretion and will be confirmed by our team.
9. Specially Sourced Gemstones
At your request, Moraebi may source a gemstone specifically to meet requirements such as gemstone variety, weight, quality, colour, origin or preferred investment range.
The exact gemstone, its relevant details and certification will be shown or shared with you before confirmation.
Once you have expressly approved a specially sourced gemstone and payment has been received, that gemstone constitutes a final purchase for change-of-mind purposes.
This does not limit rights available to you under applicable law where an item is defective, not genuine or materially different from what was represented or agreed.
10. Carat & Ratti
The internationally standardised unit of gemstone weight is the carat.
Where Moraebi provides a ratti conversion, we use 1 ratti = 0.91 carat for consistency.
Because different ratti conventions may be used by different practitioners, you are responsible for confirming the weight convention intended by the person who made your recommendation.
The independently measured carat weight stated on the relevant gemstone certificate remains the primary weight record.
11. Jewellery Design
Moraebi develops jewellery around the exact gemstone selected and the requirements communicated by you.
Your astrologer's recommendation remains the foremost consideration where you have asked us to work within it.
Our final design recommendations also consider:
gemstone structure and dimensions
technical feasibility
setting security
comfort
practicality
long-term wear
metal characteristics
open-backed skin contact where requested
Moraebi may recommend against a requested construction where we reasonably believe it could compromise the gemstone, setting or long-term wearability of the jewel.
12. Open-Back & Skin-Contact Settings
Direct skin contact is commonly recommended by astrologers and modern Vedic astrology practitioners for some forms of astrological gemstone jewellery.
Where your recommendation requires skin contact, Moraebi can design an appropriate open-backed setting while considering the protection and security of the gemstone.
Moraebi does not independently prescribe whether skin contact is astrologically required. Please communicate any such requirement before approving your design.
13. Metals
Depending on the design and customer's requirements, Moraebi may work in:
925 sterling silver
14K gold
18K gold
white gold
platinum
copper
Panchdhatu
Ashtadhatu
Availability and technical suitability may vary by design.
Where alloys such as Panchdhatu or Ashtadhatu are used, the applicable material composition will be disclosed.
14. Hallmarking & Maker's Marks
Gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked and carries the applicable HUID in accordance with prevailing requirements.
Platinum jewellery is hallmarked according to the applicable recognised hallmarking requirements.
Where BIS/HUID hallmarking does not apply to a particular piece or material, including applicable silver, copper, Panchdhatu or Ashtadhatu pieces, Moraebi may apply its maker's stamp and identify the material in the accompanying invoice or documentation.
Hallmarking requirements are subject to applicable law and the nature of the individual piece.
15. Record of Craft & Authenticity
Every Moraebi jewel is accompanied by a Record of Craft & Authenticity.
Depending on the piece, this may record its gemstone, gemstone weight, certificate details, treatment status, geographic origin where established, metal, purity, hallmark/HUID where applicable, Moraebi maker's mark, jewel/reference number and date of creation.
The independent laboratory report documents the gemstone. Applicable hallmarking documents the precious metal. The Moraebi Record of Craft & Authenticity records the finished jewel.
16. Design Development & Approval
We believe good bespoke work begins with listening.
Depending on the nature of your piece, Moraebi may share sketches, computer drawings, CADs, renders or 3D design videos where possible to keep you involved in the development of your jewel.
Production begins after the relevant gemstone, design, metal, size and other material details have been approved and the required payment received.
Digital drawings and renders are design representations. A handcrafted finished jewel may show minor differences resulting from hand-finishing, gemstone-specific adjustments and practical construction.
Material changes to an approved design will not be made without discussing them with you.
17. Handcrafted Variation
Moraebi jewellery is handcrafted.
Small variations in finish, dimensions, handwork and other details may occur and are part of the making process.
Such minor variations do not by themselves constitute a defect, provided the finished jewel materially corresponds with the approved design and description.
18. Pricing
Gemstone prices reflect the individual gemstone and may consider weight, colour, transparency, inclusions, treatment status, origin where established, cut, rarity, quality and prevailing market conditions.
Two gemstones of identical carat or ratti weight may therefore carry significantly different prices.
Gemstone availability and pricing may change until an order has been confirmed and paid.
Jewellery prices are confirmed by the Moraebi team before production begins, based on the approved design, metal, prevailing metal price, workmanship and other applicable requirements.
Once the applicable invoice has been paid and production confirmed, subsequent movement in the underlying metal price will not alter the agreed price.
Customer-requested changes after approval that require additional metal, material, labour or construction may be quoted separately.
19. Payments
Moraebi orders require 100% payment in accordance with the applicable invoice before dispatch or delivery.
Cash on Delivery is not available.
For specially sourced gemstones, the gemstone is generally invoiced and paid for separately before jewellery production.
Once the gemstone has been selected, the jewellery, metal and making charges are confirmed and invoiced separately.
Production begins once the applicable design details and payment have been confirmed.
20. Cancellations
For a standard order cancelled before dispatch and before production has begun, a refund may be provided in accordance with our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy.
If production has already begun, actual making, material or other costs already incurred may be deducted where applicable and legally permissible.
A specially sourced gemstone cannot be cancelled for change of mind once the exact gemstone has been approved and paid for.
Substantially bespoke or personalised work may become non-cancellable once production has begun.
Nothing in this section limits remedies available for defective, incorrect, misrepresented or otherwise non-conforming goods under applicable law.
21. Returns & Refunds
Eligible purchases are subject to our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy.
Where applicable, you must notify Moraebi of your intention to return an eligible item within 48 hours of recorded delivery, and the approved return must be sent within the communicated return period.
Returned gemstones and jewellery are inspected and verified against our dispatch documentation before a refund is approved.

22. Packing & Return Verification
Moraebi documents the condition and contents of high-value orders during packing and dispatch.
Returned orders may similarly be documented during opening and inspection.
This process helps us verify gemstone identity, certification, jewellery condition, components and any damage or alteration.
Assessments are made using the available documentation, inspection findings and these Terms, subject always to applicable consumer law.
23. Customer-Supplied Gemstones
Moraebi can design new jewellery around gemstones you already own and may also remake existing jewellery.
Customer-supplied gemstones must be assessed before work begins.
Moraebi cannot guarantee the natural origin, treatment status, identity, previous history or structural condition of a gemstone not originally supplied and certified by Moraebi.
Previously worn gemstones may contain chips, scratches, fractures, abrasions, treatments or other weaknesses that become apparent only after removal from their existing setting.
Known or visible concerns will be documented where reasonably possible before work begins.
Where appropriate, we may recommend independent testing before accepting the gemstone for work.
24. Resetting Previously Owned or Damaged Gemstones
Setting, unsetting, recutting or repolishing a previously worn or structurally compromised gemstone involves inherent risk.
Where those risks are disclosed and reasonable professional care is used, Moraebi cannot accept responsibility for failure arising from pre-existing fractures, chips, treatments, structural weakness or damage already present in a customer-supplied gemstone.
If we consider a gemstone too vulnerable to work on safely, we may decline the work.
25. Recutting & Repolishing
Minor chips, scratches or surface damage can sometimes be improved through professional recutting or repolishing without treatment or enhancement.
Any such process removes gemstone material and therefore results in some loss of carat and ratti weight. It may also alter the gemstone's dimensions and require new certification, modification of the existing setting or complete remaking of the jewel.
We will explain the proposed work and known implications before proceeding.
A severely cracked, extensively fractured or substantially damaged gemstone may not be repairable.
No chargeable restoration or remaking work is undertaken without your approval of the applicable quotation.
26. Metal Recovered During a Remake
Where an existing Moraebi jewel is dismantled for remaking, recoverable precious metal will be assessed according to its actual weight and purity.
Where appropriate, its recoverable value or material may be accounted for in the remake.
Normal manufacturing, soldering, refining and technical losses may occur, and dismantled metal cannot always be reused directly in the new piece.
We will explain the applicable treatment of recovered metal when quoting the remake.
27. Lifetime Care
Every Moraebi jewel carries a 12-month craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery, and is provided complimentary professional cleaning and setting inspection for its lifetime.
Resizing is available where technically possible. Where the design allows, resizing up to one size larger is complimentary; making a ring smaller, or resizing beyond one size, may require additional material or a remake, and applicable charges and shipping may apply.
Remaking, replacement materials, restoration, gemstone recutting/repolishing and significant repairs are chargeable.
Insured transportation to and from Moraebi is generally borne by the customer unless the work relates to a verified manufacturing issue or another circumstance for which Moraebi is responsible.
Damage caused by accidental impact, chemical exposure, improper care or ordinary wear is assessed separately from the craftsmanship warranty.
28. Accidental Damage & Everyday Wear
Gemstones and jewellery are not indestructible.
Moraebi cannot guarantee a gemstone against accidental impact, chips, scratches, cracks, fractures, abrasion, chemical exposure, improper use or other damage occurring after delivery.
Different gemstones require different levels of care.
Where possible, we will help assess, repair, repolish, recut or remake an affected piece, subject to technical feasibility and an agreed quotation.
29. Shipping & International Orders
Shipping within India is complimentary.
International shipping charges are quoted separately according to the destination, shipment and value.
International shipments are sent through appropriate insured courier channels with applicable customs documentation.
Customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges and other destination-country charges are borne by the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise or required by applicable law.

30. Intellectual Property
The Moraebi name, branding, original jewellery designs, design developments, drawings, CADs, renders, photographs, films, written material, website content and other original creative works remain the intellectual property of Moraebi/Manner or their respective rights holders.
Purchasing a physical jewel does not transfer commercial reproduction rights in its design.
Where a customer provides preferences, references or ideas that are subsequently developed into a Moraebi design, the resulting Moraebi design and its design development remain Moraebi creative work unless a separate written exclusivity agreement expressly states otherwise.
31. Photography of Moraebi Jewellery
Moraebi may photograph, film and reproduce jewellery created by us, including bespoke and customised pieces, for our design archive, portfolio, website, social media, editorial, educational and promotional purposes.
We will not intentionally disclose personally identifying customer information in connection with such use without appropriate permission.
Identifiable customer photographs, private messages, consultation material, astrologer recommendations or testimonials will not be published as customer endorsements without appropriate consent.
32. Website Information
We take reasonable care to keep website descriptions, prices and information accurate.
Occasionally, typographical, technical, pricing or other errors may occur. Where an obvious error materially affects an order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate opportunity to confirm, correct or cancel the affected transaction in accordance with applicable law.
33. Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to place an order directly with Moraebi.
Where a purchase is made for or on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian completing the transaction is responsible for the purchase and the information supplied.
34. Limitation of Astrological Claims
Moraebi respects the historical and contemporary traditions surrounding gemstone wear.
We do not guarantee that wearing a gemstone will produce a particular astrological, physical, emotional, financial, professional, relationship or other outcome.
Our responsibility is the honest representation of the gemstone and jewellery we supply and the quality of our work, not the prediction of outcomes arising from wearing it.
35. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to mandatory rights, remedies and jurisdiction available to consumers under applicable law, matters relating to Moraebi/Manner and these Terms will be subject to the appropriate jurisdiction in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.
36. Changes to These Terms
Moraebi may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices or applicable requirements.
The version applicable to an order will ordinarily be the version in effect when that order is placed, unless a change is required by law.
